Home / Contract Coating
QC Architectural provides contract coating services for manufacturers and distributors of building materials across Australia. If you produce or supply timber, fibre cement, plywood, aluminium or other panel and profile products, QC Architectural can apply factory coating systems to your substrate and return it finished, documented and ready for your customer.
No capital investment in coating equipment. No managing an in-house application process. Send your material, we coat it, you get it back finished to specification.
The facility handles a wide range of building materials across nine automated production lines.
QC Architectural applies a broad range of coating systems depending on substrate, end use and specification requirements.
Building and running an in-house coating facility is a significant capital and operational commitment. Accreditation programmes, quality systems, production line equipment, trained staff and controlled environments all add up. Contract coating through QC Architectural converts that cost into a straightforward processing fee per unit.
Beyond cost, accreditation matters. Architects and commercial specifiers increasingly require coating systems to be applied by accredited applicators. QC Architectural holds Dulux Accredited Industrial Applicator status, Fireshield Accredited Applicator certification for Queensland, and a Weathertex Coating Partner agreement. These accreditations cover a significant portion of the coating systems specified across residential and commercial construction in Australia.
Every production run is processed under controlled factory conditions with application monitoring and quality checks throughout. Application records and compliance documentation are provided with each batch as standard.
Nine automated production lines. Approximately 500,000m² annual coating capacity. The facility is built to handle ongoing production runs at scale, not just one off jobs.
Contract sanding and custom cutting also available as standalone services or as part of the coating process.
White label arrangements are available for manufacturers who want the finished product to carry their own branding. QC Architectural works behind the scenes.
