Factory Coating at Scale, Ready to Install

Applied finishes for every application, from one Carole Park facility. Nine automated production lines plus warehousing, logistics and distribution infrastructure. 500,000m² of factory-applied finish every year for builders, architects and manufacturers.

Built for Volume. Built for Consistency.

QC Architectural is an end-to-end infrastructure partner for the construction supply chain. Factory coating, warehousing, logistics and distribution run from one site, and that combined capability is what lets us act as an independent facilitator of Better Construction Practices rather than another supplier.

Automated infeed and outfeed. Factory controlled environments across every coating system. QC Architectural processes timber, fibre cement, plywood and other building materials at scale, with every substrate tested and finished in line with paint manufacturer specifications. The result is consistent, warranted coating across every run, every time.

Large-Scale Automated Coating From a Purpose-Built Facility in Carole Park, Queensland

Engineered for consistent output at scale.

QC Architectural operates nine fully automated production lines under one roof. Every substrate that enters the facility is processed under controlled conditions, finished to paint manufacturer specifications and tested before it leaves.

Facility1

Contract Sanding & Cutting

Substrate preparation and custom cutting for panel products.

Belt sanding services are available for any panel product, working to set tolerances. Not just for surface preparation ahead of coating. Belt sanding is also used to remove existing paint, bring rough surfaces to a consistent smoothness or achieve a specific finish profile before application begins. Whatever the starting point, the substrate leaves ready.

Custom cutting is available for fibre cement, plywood and other panel products. Any straight line cut, any size, prepared to project specification. Materials leave the facility cut, prepared and ready for the next stage.

For your project: material arrives flat and consistent, so the finish goes on evenly and there is no sanding back on site.

Facility2

Automated Panel Coating Line for Flat Sheet Substrates

Full automated finishing for flat sheet substrates up to 1.8m wide.

Panel Line 1 is built for volume. Handling timber sheet, fibre cement, plywood and other flat sheet building materials up to 1.8m wide, this line has the capacity to sand, curtain coat, UV roll coat, polish, cure and package in a single pass.

One automated process from raw substrate to finished, packaged product. No manual handling between stages. No inconsistency between batches. For manufacturers requiring high volume output with a repeatable, warranted finish, this is the line that delivers it.

One line. One process. Consistent result every time.

For your project: sanded, coated, cured and packed in one pass — fewer handling stages, fewer chances for damage before it reaches you.

S Supply

Bespoke Architectural Finishes tailored to your needs

European precision. High volume output. Finish quality that speaks for itself.

The Cefla is our most advanced production line. A European manufactured reciprocating spray machine with a dedicated glass oven, automatic multilevel stacking and fully automated infeed and outfeed. Handles substrates up to 1.8m wide with a level of finish consistency that high volume production demands.

The Cefla was purpose selected for quality. It is one of the most respected finishing systems available and the results reflect that on every board that comes off the line.

For your project: the finish quality holds across a large order, so board 1 and board 1,000 match on the wall.

Linea Profile Coating Line for Battens and Timber Profiles

Automated coating for stick profiles and linear timber products.

The Linea line is dedicated to stick profiles up to 110mm wide. Battens, screening, timber profiles and other linear building products are processed through automated spray application. The line applies water based coatings, solvent based coatings, stains, oils and primers across a full range of timber and profile products.

Built for repeatability across high volume runs. Every profile finished to the same standard, from first piece to last.

For your project: battens and screening arrive coated on every face, ready to fix straight from the pack.

S Prefinished

Water Based Automatic Panel Spray Line

Water based coating and controlled drying in one automated pass.

A dedicated standalone panel spray line applying water based coating systems across flat sheet and panel products. Fitted with an integrated dry tunnel for controlled drying between coats, this line handles high volume panel runs where water based systems are specified. Suitable for timber sheet, fibre cement, plywood and other flat panel substrates.

Consistent film build panel to panel, with controlled drying between every coat. The last panel off the line matches the first.

For your project: water based systems where the specification calls for them, with no site painting and no weather delays.

S Fireshield

UV Vacuum Coating Line

Vacuum applied UV coating that reaches every face, edge and recess.

The UV vacuum coating line is purpose built for timber profiles requiring a fully encapsulated, consistent finish across every face and edge. The vacuum process draws coating into the profile in a single pass, reaching internal faces, edges and recesses that spray application alone cannot reach as consistently. The line is primarily set up for UV cured internal lacquers, with instant curing delivered through UV lamps at fast line speeds. Well suited to high volume runs of internal lining profiles, battens and architectural timber products. The line is also multipurpose and UV coating systems can be exchanged for other water based products where required. Note: this line is for profile products only, not suitable for flat panel or sheet substrates.

For your project: every face, edge and recess is coated — including the ones a brush would miss once the profile is installed.

More Than a Coating Line.

Coating, warehousing, logistics and distribution from one facility, for builders, architects, manufacturers and supply partners.

Beyond coating, we handle the full range of substrate processing in one facility. High volume belt sanding to rectify surfaces so material arrives flat and ready to fix. Primer removal and primer application across UV roll coat, curtain coat and cure systems, so the coating bonds to a properly prepared surface. Auto stacking dry ovens that keep large production runs moving to programme.

We also hold and move product. Warehousing, logistics and distribution infrastructure sits alongside the coating lines, so finished material can be stored and staged here and delivered nationally — one partner accountable from raw substrate to delivered product.

If you are dealing with defective substrate, inconsistent surface profiles or materials that need preparation before they reach site or the end customer, we have the equipment and the capacity to handle it here — without sending work elsewhere and adding a week to your programme.
